What If Diarra Stumbled Into Club Eden?

Imagine if Captain Extra's search for Ambien Chris landed her in the crosshairs of Madam Deville.

We love imagining if characters from our favorite shows crossed paths. With all the danger and intrigue surrounding Club Eden and how a strip club features rather prominently in “Diarra From Detroit's” central mystery, it's easy to imagine a world where Diarra is an Atlanta resident and patron of Madam Deville's club for women. What would happen if Diarra crossed paths with “All the Queen's Men” or the ruthless queen herself?

A mysterious charm

After being ghosted by Chris, Diarra and Moni drop by his apartment for a wellness check; there they find a bag of marked bills and a mysterious gold chain. Moni knows the gold chain has a rare charm, but it is only produced by a jeweler on Peachtree Road. They interviewed the jeweler and learned that an employee of Club Eden purchased this limited-edition piece. Diarra is convinced Chris is an exotic dancer.

A post-ghosting girl's night out

Moni takes Diarra to Eden, the hottest club in town. When Diarra waves a stack of bills, she draws the attention of Babyface, who can smell large amounts of cash from a distance. As he grinds on her, the gold chain spills from her purse, and he immediately flags down Blue, who demands that Diarra and Moni come into Madam's office.

Diarra From Detroit: Don't Stalk the Player, Respect the Game

A meeting with Madam

"Where is he?" Madam demands, sipping from a glass of brown liquor. Blue informs Madam that the bills are marked by Madam herself, which leads her to believe Diarra is working with someone to steal from her. Diarra insists she's looking for a man named Chris, who ghosted her after a date. Madam doesn't know or care who Chris is. They drag Diarra and Moni to Madam's secret basement, where Tommy plans to torture the truth out of them.

Want a cookie?

Tied up in the basement, Diarra makes nice with Tommy when he offers her a homemade cookie as her last meal. "This is the best white chocolate macadamia nut cookie I've ever had." Moni counters they could be better than Danger's silver dollar pancakes. As Diarra and Moni debate back and forth, there are gunshots upstairs. Tommy makes a break for it.

Revenge

The club is in chaos as the Black Rock Boys storm the place with guns. As Madam, Tommy, and Blue shoot back, along with the help of DJ Dime and Midnight, Madam catches the eye of a mysterious figure in the distance. It's the Concierge! We soon realize the Black Rock Boys are there on his orders to create a distraction. Tommy rushes back down to see that Diarra and Moni are gone!

The twist

Diarra and Moni are ushered into a van driven by The Concierge. Diarra is relieved. As he faces the road, he explains that the chain was a gift from Madam during their affair. When he went into hiding, he left behind clues for his new love, Diarra, to see if she would look for him. The entire plot was to make Madam jealous. "But she never knew my real name is Chris."
