DC Young Fly Pleads For The Return Of His Bag That Contained Jackie Oh's Death Certificate

The comedian’s bag was allegedly stolen in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Improv Comedy Club.

DC Young Fly is asking for the return of his bag that contained the death certificate of his late partner, Jacky Oh, PEOPLE reports.

On Tuesday (Feb.20), the comedian, whose real name is John Whitfield, took to social media and said that his bag was allegedly stolen in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Improv Comedy Club.

“Listen, I really was trying to refrain from this video, bruh,” he said on Tuesday morning (Feb. 20). “I just want my bookbag back. The sh*t got some personal belongings in that motherf**ker, you feel me. Some personal belongings in that motherf**ker, bruh. It wasn’t no money in there, it wasn’t nothing, it’s just personal sh*t that’s in there.”

“The bag got my girl’s death certificate in it,” he said. “It got personal belongings in it. I just need the bag, bro. I just want the bag, bro. Really, just bring it back with everything, ’cause it wasn’t nothing in it. Just bring me the bag,” he continued.

DC Young Fly Talks About Devastating Loss Of Long-Time Partner Ms. Jacky Oh

In May, Oh died after experiencing complications from cosmetic surgery. The Miami-Dade Medical Examiner declared her death an accident and the doctor did not face any charges.

The couple were parents to daughters Nova and Nala and their son Prince.

In an appearance on the "Tamron Hall" show in December, the comedian discussed how he relied on his faith to deal with the tragic loss of his life partner.

"Nothing could have prepared me instead of past trauma and knowing that he [God] helped me through those traumas," DC Young Fly said.

"I wouldn't wish this on nobody," he said of Jacky Oh's death. "It's hard. Every day feels like a dream," he added. "You have to snap into reality."
