After three years full of ups and downs, Bad Boy's Danity Kane has officially disbanded according to former member Dawn Richard. On January 28, Richard shared the grim news with MTV along with what viewers can expect on the next season of "Making The Band".

"As of right now, [Danity Kane doesn't exist]," Dawn Richard told MTV. "It's devastating for me."

The all girl group recently saw turbulent times when Aubrey O'Day and D. Woods were kicked out of Danity Kane by Diddy. Shortly after their departure Shannon Bex left Danity Kane bringing the group down to only two members, Dawn Richard and Aundrea Fimbres.

"You'll see me and Drea [Aundrea Fimbres] try and pick up the pieces on our own [on this season's show] — pieces that we didn't even make," Richard explained to MTV. "We didn't even break it and we're trying to sweep it up ourselves. Puff invited all the girls to come back on this season and they chose not to. Only two of us showed up. That's fine if that's the choice."

"I'm still surprised at it all. I'm still trying to recover from the first fire," Richard explained. "So I'm still confused. I still don't know. I'm just being so honest. I have no idea."

According to reports, Diddy plans on keeping Richard at Bad Boy as a solo artist and former Danity Kane member D. Woods is also working on a solo album.

"I've been in the studio working on a lot of new music; one of my Girls Club founders Mika Means is getting ready for her album," D. Woods told SOHH.com. "So we've been working on her album, as well as a new mixtape series for myself titled Independence Day. The first will drop in February. Then we'll drop several throughout the year."

Formed in 2005 Danity Kane has gone on to sell two top selling albums, their self-titled debut album and Welcome To The Dollhouse.
