In what is being described as a freak accident, rapper and Onyx-member Sticky Fingaz has  accidentally shot fellow rapper Luce Cannon.

According to celebrity gossip site TMZ the accident occurred when Sticky Fingaz was showing Luce Cannon his licensed Desert Eagle handgun. Somehow the gun accidentally went off shooting Luce Cannon in the leg.

As a result of the gunshot a bone in Cannon’s leg was shattered requiring the rapper to have surgery. Cannon is said to be doing fine after having surgery although the bullet is still lodged in his leg.

No charges have been filed against Sticky Fingaz.

Although he is most well known as a rapper Sticky Fingaz has made a number of television and movie appearances in the past few years. He has appeared in the television shows Over There, New York Undercover, The Shield, and more. He has also appeared in films such as Next Friday, In Too Deep, and Dead Presidents.

Most recently, Sticky Fingaz directed the Hip Hop musical A Day In The Life which features Mekhi Phifer, Omar Epps, Ray J, and others. A Day In The Life will be released in stores on July 7.
