According to TMZ, Brian McKnight has not paid the employees of his self-titled television show.
The MyNetworkTV show premiered on September 21st and since then, more than 20 workers have filed non-payment complaints against the singer/songwriter to the California Labor Board. The report states that $86,300 is owed in back pay.
Reps for the show say that the workers will be paid, stating that there was "mismanagement in the beginning and since then we have gotten new investors and the show is continuing."
As of press time, there’s no word as to when payment will be handed out.
