According to various reports, newly freed rapper Shyne is scheduled to be deported back to Belize today (October 28th).

Shyne – real name Jamal Barrow – was released October 6th after serving eight years behind bars for his involvement in a club shooting in December 1999, which also involved Sean “Diddy” Combs and his then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez. But due to him serving time as a non-citizen of America, Shyne faces deportation back to Belize, the country where he was born, yet not raised.

While Shyne will be unable to return to the states to reignite his rap career, it seems likely that he will be able to record while living in Belize. According to Hot 97’s Miss Info, reports have shown that Shyne may move to Jamaica to record his next album.
