For many longtime fans of Jay-Z, who have followed him as far back as his Roc-A-Fella days, it was disappointing to hear about the recent fued between him and one of his former Roc-A-Fella cohorts, Beanie Sigel. Just last week, Beans lashed out at Jay-Z when he released the song entitled "Average Cat," which made accusations about Jay-Z and his Roc-a-fella CEO business ethics.

First, Beanie Sigel appeared at a show alongside D-Block where he spit a verse that was subliminally directed at Jay. Then, an actual record follows. Though he maintains that the song was not a dis record towards Jay-Z, Beans rhymes "This ain't a diss record/This a real record/How it feel to get exposed?/Don't you feel naked/I was the fly on the wall/...I could say sh*t to make B[eyonce] look at you different?...but the rapper Shawn called the police on me/'Cause I was front row at the Blueprint 3/Sh*t, I just wanted to see him MC/and reminisce on when we was the R-O-C."

Beanie also appeared on the radio in Philly with host Charlamagne Tha God (who ironically was fired from his position at the station not too long after) and further explained his distaste with Jay-Z and the way things went down between the two rappers.

Jay-Z briefly addressed the drama during a press conference in Toronto on Saturday (Oct. 31). While Mr. Carter has yet to respond lyrically to the tirade, he said “Beanie had a record deal, a record label, a clothing line, and never went platinum. I dont know, in the history of rap, anyone who’s done so much with so little. So I dont know what more you can do for a person at that point…if that’s not pushing a person, s–t!” Jay also made reference to the fact that Beans had two Bentleys, implying that the Philly-native had been living outside of his means.

But the story gets even more interesting when the rapper 50 Cent gets involved. Never one to stay quiet, 50 confirmed Beanie's statements that he had wanted to sign Beanie Sigel to G-Unit. In an interview with radio host Miss Jones, 50 Cent stated that he offered Beans $800,000 to sign with G-Unit, but that Jay-Z did not want to let Beanie out of his Roc-A-Fella contract.
