While the lives of most celebrities seem to be open books, Swizz Beatz wants some of his private affairs to remain private.

The producer has reportedly requested a gag order on pending divorce proceedings with singer Mashonda.

For Swizz Beatz, the drama began playing out publicly last year when news of the couple’s divorce made headlines. To complicate matters, an alleged affair between Swizz Beats and R&B singer Alicia Keys is believed to have prompted the divorce.

After remaining tight-lipped about the alleged relationship, Swizz Beatz broke his silence in a very public way, confirming his relationship with Keys on a remix to Drake’s “Best I Ever Had.” In it Swizz raps, "Wake up in the morning and my baby cooked me breakfast, A's naked wearing nothing on but a necklace."

He later said that while he and Keys do have a relationship, that particular line should not be taken literally.

Bernard Clair, an attorney for Mashonda blasted Swizz Beatz for publicly referencing his relationship with Keys while divorce proceedings were still taking place. He told the New York Post that all legal issues between the former couple were "flying under the radar until Mr. Dean and Alicia Keys went public about their long-term affair and he released a song implying that he likes it when Alicia serves him breakfast naked. Now that Mr. Dean's questionable conduct is being scrutinized, he suddenly wants a gag order and the media to be locked out?"

As of press time, Swizz Beatz has not issued a response to Clair.
