I’m a connoisseur of good taste and fine clothing, like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Brooks Brothers, Prada, and shoes by Salvatore Ferragamo. But I can go upscale or low-down.
I've always been fresh. My momma and daddy used to dress me up like a grown man when I was young -- big pea coats with big turtlenecks and hats, corduroys and tweed jackets with the suede elbows, Pierre Cardin, nice suits and bow ties. I've always been a connoisseur of clothing.
On His Competitors
Jay (Jay-Z), Puff, Kanye, and Jamie Foxx be fresh. Those really are ... oh wait, David Banner get clean too. There's other people who be fresh but they're not fresh in that way.
On Woman Fashion
Some women wear next to nothing ... but at the same time you have other people who are not as revealing like Alicia Keys ... I find something to like about any woman who's secure enough within herself and confident enough in her own skin to do whatever she wants to do and make it come across sexy. Erykah Badu, I like her style. It starts on the inside and it shines out.
