A New Yorker dubbed the “Cape Man” was arrested at a Nevada casino Friday for allegedly telling a bank teller last month that he was “on a mission to kill the president of the United States.”

Daniel James Murray, 36, issued the threat at the Zion First National Bank in St. George, Utah, in May, according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Barbara Bearnson. At the time he made the comment, United Press International reports, Murray was withdrawing $12,000 in cash from his bank account.

Later that day, he returned to the bank and withdrew another $72,000 and closed out the account, according to federal documents.

Court documents state that Murray, who has eight guns registered in his name, has ties to New York, Texas, Utah, Nevada and California, reports the Las Vegas Sun. Those who knew him in New York said he was known for sporting a cape while strolling around the city, thus earning him the nickname, “The Cape Man.”
