NBA Great Dies
Former NBA great and jazz musician Wayman Tisdale died at the age of 44 Friday after fighting cancer the past two years. Last year, Tisdale had his right leg amputated below the knee in hopes of stopping the cancer. The 6-foot-9 forward spent 12 seasons in the NBA with the Indiana Pacers, Sacramento Kings and Phoenix Suns. After his basketball career, he returned to his first love, music, and recorded several jazz albums.
