Updated, July 28, 2008 - Don’t miss the BlackBuster movie “Fresh,” the tale of a 12-year-old drug dealer who realizes that he wants revenge more than anything. Tune in Saturday at 11 p.m. (ET/PT) for a hard look at a youngster’s life and his plot for payback.
Fresh (Sean Nelson) is a quiet youngster living in a loud environment. He lives in a crowded house with his cousins and aunt; his father is a street bum; and his sister is a junkie who sleeps with the dealers for whom Fresh sells cocaine. Fresh meets his father on occasion to play chess but learns life lessons in the process.
Deep down, Fresh longs for revenge and uses his skills from the chess games with his father in more ways than one. Using the art of manipulation, Fresh plays rival gangs against each other and more.
Starring: Sean Nelson, Giancarlo Esposito, Samuel L. Jackson and N’Bushe Wright.
