What is the most interesting thing about you?
Although I am the most introverted extrovert you’ll ever meet, I am passionate about my music ministry. I’m nervous all the way to the first note. I’ve sung in U.S. Embassy in Russia.

How would your friends and family describe you?
funny, bubbly, a quiet storm
I’ve been called a singing beast.

What is the biggest sacrifice you’ve made to sing and follow your dreams?
At one point and time, I quit my job to pursue singing and acting.

42 years

What do you consider to be your biggest obstacle in becoming a professional gospel singer?
I have spent a lifetime nurturing fear and remained within the comfort zone of the choir.
