What is the most interesting thing about you?
Although I am the most introverted extrovert you’ll ever meet, I am passionate about my music ministry. I’m nervous all the way to the first note. I’ve sung in U.S. Embassy in Russia.

How would your friends and family describe you?
funny, bubbly, a quiet storm
I’ve been called a singing beast.

What is the biggest sacrifice you’ve made to sing and follow your dreams?
At one point and time, I quit my job to pursue singing and acting.

42 years

Donnie McClurkin, Shirley Caeser, Richard Smallwood, Donald Lawrence, Patti LaBelle, Luther Vandross

What do you consider to be your biggest obstacle in becoming a professional gospel singer?
I have spent a lifetime nurturing fear and remained within the comfort zone of the choir.

  • thank you for allowing god to use you. i felt the anointing through the t.v. and i have been renewed mind, body, soul and spirit. i feel like that show was just for me. you is what god is calling for, a true worshipper.   • girl you did a wonderful job last night.i really felt that last night.the spirit was so high and felt that even thourgh the day at work.that song touch me dearly and made me really think about alot of things that i am going through.i thank god for you and he really used you that night.i know others felt the same way to.i will be more then happy to meet you in person and yes i would come see you in concert....keep up the good work.....god bless you and your family....

  • this blessed woman of god has a true ministry it's not all about who can sing the best!! it's about who is ready to do god's work which is...saving souls getting them filled w/ the holy spirit! and she is about that. an evangelist is what i witnessed last night. she is not trying to impress the judges but i seen a true woman of god in her lastnight!! continue to let god use you. too much camera time whatever!! it needed to be shown on t.v. that we are not ashamed of the gospel!!!

  • if anyone wants to know, me watching sundays best is the best thing that has happen to me in life i'm now older, and know god is real, when i hear people sing true gospel i know god is real ms shari is a true gospel singer. there are great singers out there in the show but a true gospel singer to help people feel chris/god/jesus ms. shari has that gift and that gift needs to be heard around the world, thank you god for sunday's best. i can truly say i feel god now something i never thought of @ 40yrs i feel jesus chris more & more everyday. i try to hide it from my family because of what they

  • first let me begin by saying this show is an absolute blessing. look how god moves!! you can praise him on primetime!!! i love it. i was went to the site to get the number to vote on my favorite singer for the week and 3 of the contestant's 866 numbers were mixed up. has any one else experienced this. ms. jordan ~~my latter is much greater than my last!~~
