ALESHA RENEE

She’s a sexy Scorpio who loves pushing the envelope. She loves to laugh and has an infectious smile. Her favorite quote is “Don’t get mad, get money!” Who you ask?  Alesha Renee - one of BET’s “new faces” and correspondent for "HotWyred."

Alesha Renee was born in the dirty South in Lake Charles, La., but the self-proclaimed military brat will tell you that she was “raised everywhere.”  At 22 years-old, she’s the baby of the network, but is no stranger to hard work and the spotlight.  Prior to her BET gig, Alesha Renee held down 9 to 5’s doing everything from real estate to babysitting to LOTS of retail.  She is ecstatic about landing this dream job and hopes to be “the best host she can be.” 

Alesha Renee was “discovered” after she auditioned for the BET “New Faces” search in her then- home state of Texas.  She decided to give the BET talent search a try when her family “made her” by affectionately saying, “Girl, you better go audition and get OUR money!”  And it’s a good thing that they did, to. Alesha Renee became one of five “new faces” and when she called to tell her dad the good news, he cried.

Alesha Renee’s favorite places are anywhere and everywhere because wherever she’s at, she brings the party!  She loves life and says that with her you always have to expect the unexpected.  And BET is definitely bracing itself for all our resident party girl has to bring!
