Job Summary

BET Digital is looking for a Sales Development Manager to contribute to our digital ad sales development efforts. This individual will be responsible for developing advertising products, capabilities and solutions to support and drive BET Digital’s sales objectives.

Essential Functions

·   Respond creatively and quickly to several RFPs per week by providing efficient, thoughtful and saleable digital solutions for the interactive sales team.

·   Collaborate extensively with sales, product development, editorial and design to create strategic and creative concepts.

·   Develop custom presentations based on advertiser needs and requests.

·   Collaborate with broadcast and integrating marketing to develop cross platform, multimedia offerings.

·   Create online ad sales materials and collateral.

·   Work with sales reps on a daily basis to increase their ability and knowledge of the digital offering.

·   Generate research and case studies for new and existing clients to build the story of why they should advertise with BET Digital

·   Stay informed about online standards, both industry-wide and company-specific, in order to foster expertise and the continual transfer of knowledge to sales reps and clients.
 

Required Skills

·   Minimum of 2 years of interactive marketing, sales, agency or promotions experience.

·   At least 6-12 months of Internet experience a MUST.

·   Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in busy environment.

·   Strong understanding of basic marketing principles and how to use qualitative and quantitative information to develop successful solutions and pitches.

·   Excellent oral and written communication skills necessary, with strong presentation skills a plus.

·   Strong analytical skills

·   Thrives in a fast-paced work environment

·   Strong team player with a can-do, pitch in attitude

·   Capable of working proactively with multiple departments to achieve results

·   Proficiency in PowerPoint, MS Word and Excel a must

·   Agency experience a plus
