some folks are seeing what they perceive to be asian, puerto rican and white females in the promo. a couuple of these chics are clearly white and asian, but i am from baton rouge, la, where sista's come in so many shades, hair textures etc. and i saw those sista's that i went to school with on a daily basis in louisiana. they were probably mixed with asian, white etc., but just because a sista is not as dark as westly snipes doesn't mean she's not black. there are times when i see pictures of alicia keys and she definitely could have passed for white, back in the day when sista's felt the need

i agree with the lady who made the comment on how too many of the videos,including the one with foxx on the piano...we have too many true black women in so many hues,why cant we celebrate that! we are no better than the whites using one,if any,black women/men for tokens. we cant ask what we arent even willing to do!! that is why mainstream has no problem not recognizing us..true love and acceptance must first begin at home...and it hasnt happened...yet...black love..let's really show it!

i am enraged at how many white, puerto- rican, and asian women are in this promo. the only sister is the same complexion as the others! (it took the second viewing of the commercial to spot her). other races are celebrated in all other venues. can bet show the sisers some love? it's bad enough, when yall do support us, we got to have long silky weave. but yall couldn't even feature a room full of "long silky weave" sisters! you all have one token black like the rest of the world would have done! if we cannot have self -love, how can we promote it too the other races?
