ooooooooooooooo my god!!!!! anita baker!!!!! i have never in my life seen her perform. i remember when i was a little girl hearing my mother play her songs out. soon i found myself doing just the same. then i turn on my t.v. guide last night to see that the b.e.t honors was on, so i began to watch the show. 25 mins into the show diddy anounces ms. anita baker...... i got goose bumps all over. the performance was unbelievable.. i can not see 50 on her. she is gorgous and sings better then ever.. you go head ms. anita.. i can not wait to see you in concert, that is goin to be a beautif

anita baker, anita baker, anita baker!!!! wow!! a very remarkable soul and performer, she moved the crowd, and she moved me here in my house! i think it was so fitting that she was the performer for mary j, and the song that she sang "one", i have watched it so many times over and over...it really touches my soul....we are so blessed to have these type of performers among us, another of the many reasons that i am so proud to be a black man in america!

way to go...grammy's, anita and mary j. you were fabulous, thanks for showing us how to celebrate and esteem the other more than self. you don't sing the same style, yet you can appreciate the other's contribution. true, ms.mary do what he sent you to do. anita, carry on commander, you just gave orders, i love you all, i watch this over and again, it ha a message for the church supporting the other. you blessed me, truly.

i really enjoyed the honorees and seeing our black people come alone way through the rough time. but yes we can make a change in americna, and in our young black men and youg girls. god bless

it's about time they give mary some representation! everybody knows she keeps it way to real!! all of the honorees and performers were great!! mary has shared my world since her arrival! so glad for her! anita was the bomb! thanks to bet for recognizing these bright and compromising black and beautiful people!! keep up the good work!! go debra!! congrats again to mjb!! a grown woman complex!!
i enjoyed every bit of the show. the performers were fabulous. the honorees were very humble and appreciative. they all looked beautiful. when the camera hit the audience a saw ms cicely tyson and wished she was sitting on the honoree side also.
anita still sounds great.and i think tyler perry was great with his speech.and monica did awsome singing mary song both of them are two of my favorites.

omg...i remember when i was a kid back in jamaica and everytime anita baker would come there my mother would go to her concert all the time she never misses one at no time ms.baker i have to tell u i look up to u ..honestly i follow my mom footstep listening to ur song they all have a meaning...oh god...lol...all the jamaicans still love u there and u know that..i have all of ur albums...i be singin my mirror actin like u...lol..i know its crazy...lol..u look stunning continue to bloom ms.baker ur a godess...muahhhhhhhhh
