Swimsuit season is around the corner. What’s the best advice you can give a plus size woman?
You shouldn’t shy away from colors or low-cuts and stuff like that, and go for flirty details like ruffles or beading on the swimsuit. That really kicks it up a notch. But a great fit is probably the best thing you want to look for.
Your collection offers a lot of color, but most plus size woman wear black. What do you have to say about that?
Go for it. Sometimes it just takes being courageous enough to put on a different color when you’re in that fitting room and just giving it a shot rather than just saying no right off the bat. Who says plus size girls shouldn’t wear yellow? We can wear any color.
Of course I think it’s a confidence thing. You have to know what fits your body. Even if you don’t find exactly what you want in the store, if you know you can rock it and be confident in it, take it to the tailor and have him adjust it for you. It’s all about flipping it and bouncing it and making it work for you. But the first thing that’s most important is confidence because if you don’t have it, you’re not going to wear it.
Ladies, plus size girls rock!
