Posted, February 29 - Lauren London made her feature film debut opposite rapper T.I. in “ATL,” directed by Chris Robinson and this holiday season appeared in the All-Star cast of Sony Screen Gems’ “This Christmas” alongside Idris Elba, Loretta Devine, Delroy Lindo, Columbus Short and Chris Brown.
Lauren also recently starred on the critically-acclaimed HBO Original Series “Entourage” as the romantic interest of the character, Turtle and in 2008 continues her second year as a spokesmodel for the Sean Jean Womens Line.
Lauren’s career includes a starring role in the music video “Frontin” with Jay Z and Pharrell and in commercials for Nike and Diet Coke.
A native of Los Angeles, CA, Lauren attended Castle Heights Elementary School where her drama teacher gave Lauren the role of a lion who didn’t speak English. Having to improvise words that she didn’t understand heightened her curiosity and sparked her enthusiasm for acting.
After a stint at Palisades High School, Lauren was home schooled, giving her time to audition for films, music videos and commercials. This year she plans to continue to study her craft more intensely at The American Conservatory. She is currently taking her time in finding challenging roles that take her outside of herself.
