If you get pulled over by the police, the last way you want to address them by is, "I'm officer, sir."

That's exactly what former Ohio State Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith did early Sunday morning in Westerville, Ohio, sealing the deal on his DUI arrest.

What's worse is the embarrassing ordeal was captured via police dashcam, with the footage showing just how hammered Smith really was.

When the arresting officer asked Smith to name his highest level of education, the former college football star and NFL quarterback responded by saying: "I graduated from Ohio State with a degree in bachelors."

A degree in bachelors? Really, Troy?

It only got worse for the 2006 Heisman Trophy winner when the officer asked him to recite the alphabet from C to W... and he got stuck on 'I.'

Smith was arrested for DUI and also for the marijuana found in his vehicle, as reported by TMZ Sports, which posted the footage.

Sad ordeal and all the more reason to call an Uber if you've been out drinking.
