Adrian Peterson Goes on Twitter Rant Against Vikings and NFL

Star running back talks about team and league honoring players' contracts.

Ever since the Minnesota Vikings worked with the NFL to put Adrian Peterson on the commissioner's exempt list during his child abuse scandal last year, the star running back has been at odds with the franchise.

Back in February, there was even a report about Peterson allegedly telling the Vikings that he wants to play for the Dallas Cowboys in 2015.

Well, if you needed any more proof of Peterson's frustration with the Vikings, the rusher provided it Thursday in a Twitter rant, in which he blasted the organization over contract disputes, as well as the NFL for not having guaranteed contracts like the NBA or MLB do.

"I love people who think they know it all! Smh, Research how many NFL teams hasn't honored a player's contract & learn something," Peterson began tweeting from his account Thursday afternoon.

After only playing one game with the Vikings last season due to his suspension over his child abuse case, Peterson was reinstated to the NFL in April. Not doing so would run the rusher the risk of losing out on a $250,000 workout bonus. Judging by the rest of the tweets from the rant it sounds like AP is ready to move on from the Twin Cities.

"All I'm saying as a Minnesota Viking player! WE need the same power to do as all 32 teams do we they feel, under contract or not!" he added. "It's time for a change!
