Jessie J Is Not Doing Well After Recent Surgery

Singer reveals she's "in a lot of pain."

The powerhouse vocals that British singer Jessie J is typically known for have been silenced after a recent surgery. The “Bang Bang” singer, who often takes to Instagram to keep her fans updated on just about everything, has revealed she’s in “a lot of pain” following a mysterious procedure.

Jessie initially posted a before-and-after video a few days ago letting fans know she would be taking a few days off as a result of an illness that she wouldn’t name. Within the lengthy IG caption she mentions, “Hospitals have been my secret second home my whole life and they never get nice to be in,” suggesting this condition may be something the singer has battled with her entire life.

However, in a more recent post displaying just a cropped portion of her arm filled with IV’s and other needles, Jessie shared that she isn’t OK and is “in a lot of pain.” But with the help of her doctors and her mother, who is by her bedside, she hopes her road to recovery will be much faster.

As a result of complications from a past surgery and unexpected delays in her recovery the Sweet Talker has had to cancel shows in Denmark, England and Belgium, which she has graciously apologized for on her social media accounts.

Although there is no word on when Jessie will return to the stage, she is still in good spirits, giving shout-outs to her famous beau, Luke James, for being a “natural pain killer.”

Jessie J is currently a judge on The Voice Australia, which debuted last Sunday (June 21) but was pre-recorded a few months prior.
