Cox started her celebrations early last Thursday when she showed up at the Moxy Hotel rooftop in New York City, dressed as her newly released Barbie doll.

The LGBTQAI+ activist had a Barbie created by Mattel in her likeness as part of the brand's Tribute Collection. The company has also honored other individuals, such as Lucille Ball and designer Vera Wang.
