Lizzo Claps Back At Trolls Who Use Her Name To Insult Other Women

The Grammy winning singer suggested “if u can’t make it past the cheeks, just say that.”

If there’s one thing you can say about Lizzo is that the girl loves herself and believes that other women should easily love themselves too. It’s a theme that is weaved throughout her music, fashion, and sensuality over the years. Lizzo is all about body positivity, but even the most confident woman has her days when too much is just too damn much.

Lizzo’s overall self-confidence has brought out a number of detractors over the course of her career. This isn’t the first time she has had to call out people for their fat-phobic, misogynistic, racist and hurtful commentary. She believes if you’re not a fan of her music or latest songs (she got a lot of heat when her hit “Rumors,” featuring Cardi B. debuted last summer), then that’s the right of any subjective fan. It’s when her naysayers push an agenda that is based solely on the way she looks that fighting that constant fight takes a tremendous toll on her mentally.
