Haters: Colin Kaepernick Voted the NFL's Most Disliked Player in Poll

This is after the 49ers QB took his stance.

Take a stand and the haters will come out in droves.

Colin Kaepernick knows that all too well.

After sitting and kneeling during the national anthem over the past four weeks as a stance against racism and violence in America, the San Francisco 49ers quarterback has been voted the most disliked player in the NFL, according to a recent poll.

ESPN is reporting that a poll, conducted by E-Poll Marketing Research, asked 1,100 people from demographics that match the general population across the country to vote for the most disliked player in the league.

Kaepernick raked in 29 percent of the vote, ahead of players such as Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Jameis Winston (22 percent), Miami Dolphins' Ndamukong Suh (21 percent), New England Patriots' Tom Brady (13 percent) and Pittsburgh Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger (10 percent).

If you're wondering how much this has to do with Kaepernick's continued silent protest, ESPN points out that the Niners QB only garnered six percent of the most-disliked vote during the last time the poll was taken in August 2014.

Earlier this week, Kaepernick revealed that he has received death threats for taking his stance.

"There's a lot of racism disguised as patriotism in this country," Kaepernick said, as reported by the Sacramento Bee. "People don't like to address that and they don't like to address what the root of this protest is."

If death threats aren't going to stop the 28-year-old from helping to combat police brutality and racial inequality, then a poll isn't going to either.

Salute to Colin Kaepernick.
