SMH: Lil Wayne and Birdman Took a Major Step Back From Reconciliation
It seemed like Lil Wayne and Birdman were on their way to reconciling their on-going beef. The two appeared together numerous times since Wayne sued Baby last year in what looked like an effort to come together again in solidarity. Now though, it looks like we’re back to square one.
Just a day after Lil Wayne yelled, “F**k Cash Money,” at Denver’s 4/20 rally, TMZ is reporting that talks between the two camps have completely “broken off within the past month” as they weren’t able to come to an agreement. This means Weezy is still following through with his $51 million lawsuit.
The report claims that Wayne is mostly upset that Birdman won’t release his long-awaited forthcoming album, Tha Carter V, which has been shelved for years. This has been Birdman’s stance all this time apparently, which caused Wayne to go through with the legal battle.
Also, if you remember that picture of Lil Wayne with Rick Ross and Trick Daddy taken during Beyonce’s first stop of her world tour in Miami, it happened right after the talks broke off. How fitting.
