Last week Ice T’s wife, Coco Austin, was being dragged on social media for taking their 2-year-old daughter swimming with sharks on their family vacay in the Bahamas. Yes, the really happened. However, this week the 38-year-old mom’s parenting skills are under fire over a far less bizarre scenario.

Coco shared a photo to Instagram of her breastfeeding Chanel Nicole Marrow on the plane ride back home from their eventful trip and mom-sters immediately came for the model saying the tot was too old for “the boob.” One commenter in particular felt that if your child has a mouth full of teeth, it’s time to stop breastfeeding and switch to strictly solid foods. Coco quickly offered a classy clapback, replying, “believe me she loves food…she still breastfeeds when she goes down for a nap and at night..chill.”

Other moms also came to Coco’s defense with the 411 on breastfeeding. It’s true, “breast is best.” Human milk boosts babies’ immune systems — helping fight viral, bacterial and parasitic infections. It also has a load of benefits for moms too, like reduced risk of ovarian and breast cancer, heart disease and osteoporosis. According to Health Foundations Birth Center in Minnesota, a woman who breastfeeds for eight years has nearly a zero percent risk of breast cancer. Whoa, mama!

But the real debate here is at what age do you cut your child off the boob? Moms??
