The New York Times may be used to getting attacked on the daily by President Trump, but nothing could have prepared the newspaper for the wrath of Black Twitter after they confused Angela Bassett for Omarosa. 

After Monday night's broadcast of the Emmys, the Times published a write-up of the winners, losers, presenters and fashions. People who still get paper copies of the Times were quick to notice a picture of Bassett with a caption identifying her as none other than Omarosa, who was not even at the Emmys. 

The blunder by the Times outraged people for many reasons, including but not limited to:

1. All Black women do not look alike. 

2. This was in the actual newspaper, meaning it had to go through more people before it could be printed and distributed.

3. Angela Bassett is a queen and should be treated as such.

4. Of all people to confuse Queen Bassett for you chose Omarosa.

5. Omarosa?!?! 

The Times communications Twitter account has since posted a statement that said they used a pre-made caption from a photo service and will issue a correction.
