Ye Accused Of Punching a Man in Defense of Bianca Censori
Ye (formerly Kanye West) is facing an investigation for physical battery after allegedly punching a man who “assaulted” his wife, Bianca Censori, at the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Los Angeles, Page Six reports.
In an altercation that took place Tuesday night (April 16), ’Milo Yiannopoulos, Ye’s chief of staff told the outlet that Censori’s alleged assailant did more than bump into her.
“Grabbed’ is grossly inadequate as a description of what happened. Bianca was physically assaulted. The assailant didn’t merely collide into her,” Yiannopoulos stated.
“He put his hands under her dress, directly on her body, he grabbed her waist, he spun her around and then he blew her kisses. She was battered and sexually assaulted,” his statement continued.
TMZ reported that Ye was named as a possible suspect in the incident.
Drake Madison, an officer with the LAPD confirmed to Billboard that "officers arrived at a hotel on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood on April 17 around 12:30 a.m. PT for a battery investigation and that a battery report was then completed.”
Madison did not confirm whether Ye was a suspect.
Yiannopoulos also denied that the producer is a suspect in the investigation in a statement to Billboard.
“There is no such thing. No police report was filed," his statement read. There is no suspect because there is no investigation.”
As of press time, Ye has not been officially charged for his alleged involvement in the incident.
