Lil Nas X And Jack Harlow Win ‘Best Collaboration’ Award At MTV VMAs 2022

Nas was at a loss for words when he accepted his award.

Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow, a pair of the hottest artists on tour today, won in the “Best Collaboration” category at the MTV Video Music Awards 2022 for “Industry Baby.”

“We both won, but I want to take a moment to say thank you to Nas,” Harlow said, explaining that the song started with the Montero singer and he’s “super grateful” for the opportunity.

Harlow passed the mic to Nas, who joked that he’s “half naked” on stage in his provocative outfit. Nas expressed his appreciation to MTV for the recognition of his hard work last year with Jack.

Apparently at a loss for words, Nas said, “Hopefully, I’ll be back up [on stage tonight] and have something better to say.”

The track for “Industry Baby” was co-produced by Take a Daytrip and Kanye West. Christian Breslauer directed the clip written by Nas. In the video, the rapper is serving five  years in Montero State Prison. He passes his time behind bars dancing in the shower and in the prison yard. Harlow steps in to perform a verse and helps Nas plan his prison break.
