Man Exposed as Vince Young Impersonator

The con artist has been hitting up people in the Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia areas for money to support The Vince Young Foundation.

Philadelphia Eagles backup quarterback Vince Young has a look-a-like and that is not a good thing.

A man has been impersonating Young since at least this summer in Washington, D.C., and even in Philadelphia, claiming to be soliciting money for the Vince Young Foundation. Antoinette Latham, the executive director for Young’s foundation, says the alleged impersonator, whose real name is Stephan Pittman, has been playing the role since June and hit up at least one person for $2,500.

“Most of the calls [we've received] have been pretty consistent in that he’s asking for money for the foundation,” Latham told the Philly Sports Daily. “We absolutely don’t know who he is otherwise.”

Apparently, Pittman hasn’t missed a beat in his con, going so far as to wrap his hamstring with an ice bag. The real Vince Young has been sidelined for weeks with a hamstring injury.

Jonathan Pastore and some friends got an up close look at the fake Vince Young this past weekend when they hung out with him in Manayunk, Pennyslvania.

“Everyone I heard that went out with him said he was funny and shelled out cash like crazy,” Pastore told the Philly Sports Daily. ”He never made us feel threatened when we were out with him, just a straight up con artist trying to pick up young college girls."
