Officers Who Killed Kimani Gray Will Not Be Charged

The police officer that shot Kimani Gray seven times will not be charged.

The officers who killed 16-year-old Kimani Gray in March 2013 will not be facing charges, according to CBS New York.

The Brooklyn District Attorney's office announced on Wednesday that the NYPD officers who shot Gray seven times in the East Flatbush area of Brooklyn, New York, on March 9, 2013, will not be charged.

According to the police, Gray pulled a gun on two plain-clothes officers while standing with a group of friends on East 52nd Street.

Family members claim Gray did not own a gun, but police claim he was both a gang member and a gun owner.

Some went as far as to allege that the gun had been planted at the scene.
