Remy Ma And Fat Joe Will Guest Host ‘The Wendy Williams Show’

The rappers will take on the famous purple chair during Thanksgiving week.

The Wendy Williams Show has announced its new lineup of celebrity guest hosts, and Remy Ma and Fat Joe will take on hosting duties next.

According to an announcement on the Wendy Show Instagram page, the rappers are scheduled to take over during Thanksgiving week on Tuesday (Nov. 23) and Wednesday (Nov. 24).

In case you missed it, Williams has not yet returned to this season of her daytime talk show after testing positive for a breakthrough case of COVID-19 amid other ongoing health issues. The premiere for the current season was first slated for Sept. 20, then pushed back on Oct. 4 and again on Oct. 18.

Last week, Williams gave a surprise update in her own words in a statement posted on her Instagram account.

“HOW YOU DOIN? I MISS YOU ALL! As everyone knows, my health has been a hot topic,” she started the post.

Adding, “I'm making progress but it's just one of those things that's taking longer than we expected. I'm a woman of a certain age, and I know enough to listen to my doctors and will return to my purple chair as soon as we all agree I'm ready.”

Additionally, author Bevy Smith, Devyn Simone from MTV's The Challenge: Aftermath, Variety chief correspondent Elizabeth Wagmeister, and comedian Michael Yo will return to host on Monday (Nov. 22).
