Lead with your strengths. We’re always most confident when we stand on familiar ground, so identify and use your strengths. If you know that your supervisor admires your ability to creatively solve problems, let that be your entry into conversations that usually leave you feeling inferior. And if you are a foodie, let a great meal be the jumping off point for your first date.
