Rachel Roy and Rachel Ray Have Bonded in the Name of Becky

No one saw this one coming.

It seems as the "Becky with the good hair" controversy benefited both Rachel Roy and Rachel Ray in one way: they both gained a friend. According to Us Magazine, the popular chef said after their respective attacks — one wrongfully accused — that they sent each other gifts to help one another cope.

"Rachel [Roy] sent me flowers and I sent her a bottle, a big bottle of wine and a straw," she said. "[I was going to send Roy] Brunello di Montalcino, where I was married, but I said for our office to ask her office if she drinks red and if she didn't drink red, to send Grande Dame... So I don't know actually which one she got. I wrote the card and she got the straw and the booze."

This all started after Beyoncé dropped her latest No. 1 album, Lemonade, with the ending lyric to fan-favorite cut "Sorry" leaving many to believe Rachel Roy was the main suspect. Her Instagram post, which was made public shortly after Bey's HBO film premiere, read, "Good hair don't care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always. Live in the light #nodramaqueens," prompting the BeyHive to believe she was "Becky."

Since then, Roy has denied the claims, but Ray says she was pretty flattered to be mentioned in the same sentence as Bey and Jay.

"[It was] hilarious. I thought it was the coolest thing ever! I was like, 'Are you kidding me? I'm even mentioned in the same sentence as these people? That's insane. That's awesome," she said. "I think honestly that it was really much more uncomfortable for the rest of the people in that group than for me. I was like, 'I'm mixed in with all of these peeps?! What the hell?!"

At least she had a sense of humor about the hilarious mix up.
