Oh, No: Scary News for Lamar Odom

Oh No: Scary News for Lamar Odom

The athlete has a major decision to make.

Published May 17th

It's been seven months since Lamar Odom's nearly fatal overdose at a Las Vegas brothel, and while it seems like the athlete is back in good health, sources tell RadarOnline he may be back to his old ways.

According to the site, Lamar's friends are encouraging him to get help before he hits rock bottom again.

He's reportedly started drinking again, and sources close to the situation say his loved ones are even pushing for him to enroll in a rehab program, but they haven't made any leeway yet.

"Lamar is drinking in public and at home too," a source said. "Since the Vegas overdose, Lamar's mental faculties have been really messed up. It seems like he doesn't even understand that he can't drink or do drugs again. It's like he forgot how close he was to death, and just thinks everything is fine again. But it isn't, and everyone is really scared about him."

The insider also claims that the former NBA all-star is mentally suffering and isn't even aware of his actions: "Lamar is mentally unstable," the source said. "He doesn't know what he is doing. Lamar's guys stay with him at all times to make sure that he doesn't go overboard. But he just doesn't listen."

His loved ones are reportedly extremely concerned his habits will cause him to reach his demise this time, but he's just not willing to hear it. "Everyone is worried about him," the source said. "They're afraid he will do drugs or drink too much and that will really kill him. But he just won't listen right now."
