Another Love & Hip Hop Star Is in Trouble With the Law

She allegedly went on a shopping spree with a stolen credit card.

One of the ladies from Love & Hip Hop was arrested in Atlanta on Tuesday for allegedly going on a Saks Fifth Avenue shopping spree with a stolen credit card last August.
Karen King, from Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, was cuffed outside of Level V nightclub and was booked early Tuesday with financial identity fraud, theft by taking and first-degree forgery, Fulton County Jail records show.

While the police report hasn't yet been made public, cops have confirmed to the New York Daily News that the arrest was related to an August 30, 2015, embezzlement incident in Atlanta — where King and two Saks' employees worked together to rip off the high-end department store.
Apparently, King bought almost $5,000 worth of merchandise at Saks Fifth Avenue using a stolen credit card. According to the Daily News, "She presented sales associate Armani Harper with a woman named Diane Wodey's information ... Harper later admitted to police he 'knowingly rang sales that were being paid for with fraudulent credit cards and receive (sic) kickbacks.'"
Of course, as anyone who watches L&HH: Atlanta knows, this is hardly KK's first run-in with the law. She was actually featured on America's Most Wanted — arguably her first reality TV gig — in 2012 for allegedly beating an ex-boyfriend, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. She was later jailed in 2013 on charges of aggravated assault with intent to murder, kidnapping, armed robbery and other offenses.
“Yes, I was on the run. Yes, I was on America’s Most Wanted. Even my dog was on America’s Most Wanted,” she said in a teaser for L&HH: Atlanta earlier this month. “I’ve been to prison, not one time but a few times. It’s unfortunate. I made mistakes,” King continued. “But when you’re a single mom and you don’t want your kids to struggle, you might make some choices that are not so good.”
