The social media community really let Kim Kardashian have it after she boasted about the "soul food" spread she made — and photographed — for her hubby, Kanye West, on Father's Day. After she was criticized for having dry, "soul-less" cooking skills, she's now being backed up by her friends Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, who say her cooking is actually pretty darn good.
In true Kardashian fashion, Kim invited the experienced cooks over and posted their tastings on Snapchat, via the Daily Mail, so the world can see that she's not crazy. At one point, Chrissy, who is also the author of her own cookbook, raved about the reality star's cooking, saying the recipe was even better than her own.
"Taste test," Kim said after she hit "record."
"OK, that's amazing," Chrissy said, after sampling the first bite. "That's actually better than mine!"
The couple was sampling what seemed to be macaroni and cheese, collard greens, sweet potatoes, green beans, fried chicken and a corn bread muffin.
"I need your reaction as a verification to the world of people that think I don't know how to make soul food," Kim said as they went in, to which Chrissy responded, "That's seriously really, really good."
John even chimed in on the greatness of Kim's chef skills, saying, "It's very old school, too. It's not like, there's no frills... It's like what you would have at church on Sunday."
