Jesse Williams Responds to Haters Who Want Him Fired From 'Grey's Anatomy'

The actor responded like only he can.

Jesse Williams is not keeping quiet about that petition circulating to get him fired from Grey's Anatomy. Recently, the actor/activist took to Twitter to let his detractors know that they're really not making any sense in their plan.

Jesse, who plays plastic surgeon Jackson Avery on the hit medical drama, tweeted the following:

To the dismay of his haters, it's pretty unlikely that Jesse's going anywhere, as Grey's Anatomy's showrunner Shonda Rhimes has his back 100 percent, recently tweeting, "Um, people? Boo don't need a petition #shondalandrules."

The petition has garnered more than 20,000 signatures, and accuses the 2016 BET Humanitarian Award recipient of spewing a "racist hate speech against law enforcement and white people."

Take a look at Jesse's speech in full in the video, above.
