LHHATL's Karlie Redd’s Ex Breaks His Silence After Violent Fight

Rape allegations, restraining orders and more.

It's been a crazy week for Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Karlie Redd. Over the weekend, she reportedly got into a wild fight with her man, rapper Christopher "Pharoah" Powe, in a hotel room. Security was called, a restraining order was issued and the situation turned into a classic he said, she said.
Powe was the one to get the restraining order first, claiming that Karlie threw a hissy fit after their argument, locked herself in the bathroom and threatened to flush his belongings and, even worse, tell folks he raped her. Redd later asked for her own restraining order against Powe, telling the court that he's a pervert who was filming her while she slept — and that she locked herself in the bathroom for her own safety.
Well, Powe has broken his silence about the matter in an effort to set the record straight.

“As someone who has two sisters and young fans I’m gravely disturbed and disappointed by Karlie’s accusations, actions and behavior," Powe tells Rolling Out. "I feel as if I have been used for a possible storyline, and I am bothered by this because this is someone I actually truly cared about."
He continues, "We are at a pivotal and delicate time in our country and world, we have too many real issues going on in our community and against our people for us to be distracted by nonsense. I am fully focused on being a musician and creating music that uplifts others. At this point my only focus will be my music. I thank everyone for their support.”
Both Powe and Redd are due back in court next month to sort through this mess. Meanwhile, Redd claims to have moved on to a new, "real bae" and is sparring with her other ex, Lyfe Jennings, on Instagram. Sheesh.
