Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has just showed that he's not one to mess with in Hollywood as he has officially been crowned the highest-paid actor in show biz, according to Forbes.
Between June 2015 and June 2016, the actor raked in $64.5 million, earning more than double what he did last year, ultimately bumping former victor Robert Downey Jr. from the top spot. Coming in second to Johnson, with a $3.5 million difference is Jackie Chan.
Most of Johnson's earnings came from his starring roles in the massive Fast & Furious franchise, the film San Andreas and his hit HBO series Ballers. He also received upfront fees from his two upcoming films Fast 8 and Baywatch.
This is a massive leap for the actor, as just a year ago, he landed at No. 11, earning about $31 million.
The actor responded to the news on Twitter in a pretty charming way:
Other notable actors on the list are Johnson's current nemesis Vin Diesel (No. 7), Leonardo DiCaprio (No. 15), former top spot holder Robert Downey Jr. (No. 9) Will Smith (No. 17), Tom Cruise (No. 4) and Brad Pitt (No. 11).
