Regina King and Courtney B. Vance Win Big at Emmys

Sadly, others were snubbed.

The 2016 Emmy Awards have come to an end, and sadly — despite an impressively diverse set of nominations — was not quite a repeat of last year's incredible #EmmysSoBlack show.
Tracee Ellis Ross didn't win a historic Emmy for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series — she was the first Black woman to be nominated in the category in 30 years — and Viola Davis and Taraji P. Henson both fell short of a win for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series. Anthony Anderson, Tracy Morgan, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Idris Elba also stayed seated when their respective categories were announced.
But the news isn't all bad. Keep scrolling to see who did take home those coveted statuettes.

Regina King took home the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series for the second year in a row for her role in American Crime. Sterling K. Brown took the prize for Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series for The People Vs. O.J. Simpson, in which he played prosecutor Christopher Darden. Courtney B. Vance, who played Johnny Cochran, also got a win.
Brown gave an emotional speech for his first Emmy win, thanking his co-star Sarah Paulson, his father and his wife, who he adorably described as "the hottest chick in the game, rockin' my chain!"
Vance echoed the Jay Z lyric in his acceptance speech, shouting out his wife, Angela Bassett: "To the woman that rocks my chain! Angela Bassett, this one for you girl! Obama out, Hillary in!"
But the cutest moment of the night, hands down, was Henson celebrating King's win in true #BlackGirlMagic fashion:
