If you're a member of the Kardashian-Jenner family, chances are you're quite used to to getting dragged on Twitter for something or the other. This weekend, it's Caitlyn Jenner's son's turn.
Brody Jenner posted about the recently released police video showing the circumstances around Charlotte resident Keith Lamont Scott's death, and his words are angering a lot of folks.
After the release of the dash came video last night, Jenner felt the need to chime in with his two cents. "If you have an officer of the law telling you to exit your vehicle (or do anything for that matter)…you comply. And not only do you comply, but you do so willingly and follow directions completely," he writes.
He continued, "If I, as a white male, did those things, I’d expect that I’d be putting myself in danger of being shot because I’d be making myself a perceived threat. This world is getting out of hand with the race issue. Maybe I say that because I’m not racist. I see humans as equals. You shoot me, or you shoot an AfricanAmerican, we are both humans with the same beating heart. Why is everything these days about race? Why?":
Twitter didn't hesitate to go all the way off:

On behalf of whites who aren't individually racist but are educated and acknowledge systemic racism, I am sorry for @BrodyJenner comments— Auntie Kat (@BabsMistake) September 25, 2016
Much money the Jenner / kardashian family has made off black folks. Y'all should be on the front line for blk people. Stop it brody jenner— Ty (@Tksailor) September 25, 2016
Yet another reminder to think before you post.
Thankfully, others on social media are not hesitating to remind Jenner of all the other Black men killed by police who fully complied with the law — or never broke any in the first place.
Perhaps Brody should watch our coverage of Scott's death in the video above.
