Here's the Reaction From the Company That Made the Offensive Kim K Halloween Costume

See what they decided to do.

Kim Kardashian has been the topic of headlines for the past couple weeks following her Paris robbery, and online retailer Costumeish even created a Halloween costume based on the traumatic event. Now, after receiving major backlash for the insensitive decision to capitalize off of such a life-threatening situation, they've decided to pull the costume from their site.

Though the online description for the item, labeled "Parisian heist," did not include Kardashian's name, it featured what looked like a bound-and-gagged brunette wearing a white robe and a huge diamond ring on her finger. The costume retailed for about $70.

The company's founder, Jonathan Weeks, said in an interview with Time that though Costumeish's intent was to spark conversation, "we're not mocking her."

Regardless, they've went on to no longer make the costume available for purchase on their site.
