Michael B. Jordan Just Made a Serious Boss Move

He's going to be behind the camera for a change.

Michael B. Jordan is well on his way towards becoming a serious Hollywood heavyweight, and not only in front of the camera.
As reported, the Creed actor recently leveled up, excitedly announcing that he is launching Outlier Productions. Through the company, Jordan will work with Skylance Media as part of a "multiyear firstlook film and TV production deal."

He also announced the company's first creative endeavor, which will be a new television show titled Apollo Park. The drama series is set to focus on an aspiring, young professional basketball player's rise to fame, as well as his changing relationship with his family and friends in inner-city Detroit as a result of his success.
“I love telling true, modern stories and Apollo Park — an underdog tale about a very real and very heroic hustler who defies stereotypes and thrives against great odds — has long been a passion project of mine,” Jordan shared with The Hollywood Reporter.
He also revealed the news that the show was co-created by Eric Amadio, who will assist with the script, as well as share production duties alongside Jordan.
“Eric [Amadio] and I are excited to join forces with the incredible creative team at Skydance to share it with the world," he added. "I’m also very eager to start this new chapter in my career by launching my production company and I am thrilled to have Wynn [Wygal] join my team.”

We can't wait to see what the 29-year-old creates next through his new company. Major props out to you, Michael B. Jordan!
