Wait one damn minute...Dave Chappelle is coming through like never before!

The comedic genius will be making history on November 12th as Saturday Night Live just announced that he will be hosting the sketch comedy program for the first time. This is a major move for Chappelle who hasn’t made many television appearances since leaving his iconic Comedy Central break-out Chappelle’s Show in 2006.

Since then, the stand-up legend has performed to sold-out shows at Radio City Music Hall and even made a memorable cameo in last year’s Spike Lee joint Chi-Raq. Fingers crossed for one of our favorite brothas as he will be have A Tribe Called Quest serving as the musical guest on what will be one of the most talked about SNL episodes.
