Try Not to Cry: Watch Steve Harvey Get Emotional While Honoring Bernie Mac

The comedian passed away in 2008.

It's been eight years since we lost the late, great comedian Bernie Mac, and while he's gone, he certainly hasn't been forgotten — especially by his dear friends Steve Harvey and Mike Epps.
The two joined forces for a special tribute to Bernie that is sure to leave you in tears.

Epps appeared on The Steve Harvey show via satellite, from Bernie's old high school on the South Side of Chicago, where the auditorium was being renamed after the late comedy icon. “Bernie Mac paved the way for a lot of great comedians like myself, and it’s a great time to honor this man,” Epps said to Harvey. “We love Bernie Mac.”
Steve then followed up with some tearful words of his own:
