Here's How Kim Kardashian Handled Kanye's Mental Breakdown

Kris Jenner spoke out as well.

Kanye West's recent explosive rant where he called out Jay Z — again — for not calling him following Kim Kardashian's robbery and let out his jealously of Beyoncé led to him being hospitalized. According to the Daily Mail, his wife wasted no time rushing to his side after following the news.

Kim reportedly canceled her highly anticipated comeback event following the robbery and headed back to L.A. last night to be by her husband's side after he was hospitalized "for his own safety" following the public meltdown.

Things seem to be pretty serious this time around as the "Heartless" MC is currently under "psychiatric evaluation" at UCLA Medical Center. The remaining dates of his Saint Pablo Tour have also reportedly been canceled with friends of the rapper saying he is "spiraling out of control."

The Daily Mail also reports that friends say the psychotic breakdown was triggered by problems in his marriage to Kim, "paranoid over his rift with Jay Z and his seething jealously of Beyoncé."

According to reports, the police and paramedics were called to his residence at around 1:20 p.m. yesterday and decided he needed to be admitted after suffered "severe sleep deprivation."

A close friend also reportedly said that Kim is "fed up." "They've been bickering constantly — she didn't want Kanye to do the tour in the first place," the source said. "She wanted him by her side as she recovered from her traumatic robbery in Paris."

The Jasmine Brand reports that Kanye's mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, blames his outbursts on exhaustion.

"He's exhausted," she said. "He's just really tired. He's had a grueling tour and it's been a grind so he just needs some rest."

Take a look at the rant that preceded Kanye's hospitalization in the video, above.
