Truce or Shade? Blac Chyna Finally Gets a Response From the Karadashians After Lawsuit Backlash

The family reportedly didn't want her to trademark her name.

One of the biggest hot topics of the week was the Kardashians' attorneys gunning for Blac Chyna for attempting to trademark their last name for promotional purposes, which will soon also be hers. Now, the Kardashian matriarch, Kris Jenner, is doing damage control, reassuring Chyna that there's no animosity between her and the family.

According to TMZ, the model's people said Kim, Kourtney and Khloé reached out to her and explained that it was strictly business and their attorneys were just following proper protocol when they filed the docs for the suit. They claimed they weren't intentionally or maliciously singling her out.

The docs filed had pretty specific terminology, which stated that the three sisters would "suffer damage including irreparable injury to their reputation and goodwill" if their soon-to-be sister-in-law got the OK to trademark "Angela Renée Kardashian" as her name in entertainment.

Additionally, Kris Jenner reportedly also reached out to Chyna and assured her there were no hard feelings between her and the clan. She allegedly told her it was all a mix-up and she's pushing for the legal teams to ease up. Meanwhile, though this is all good to hear, Chyna's trademark is still yet to be approved.

Get the scoop on what was supposed to be Kim's first appearance following her social media hiatus with BET Breaks above.
